Princess Cruises has announced a revamp of its Premier and Plus package add-ons, rolling out for all 2026 sailings. These bundles, which offer bundled perks like drinks, Wi-Fi, dining, and gratuities, now come with updated features, higher prices, and a few cutbacks aimed at simplifying the offerings.
What’s Changing
The Premier Package now includes new onboard credit for shore excursions—ranging from $100 to $300 depending on cruise length—along with its usual perks like unlimited drinks (up to $20 each), multiple-device Wi-Fi, specialty and casual dining, crew appreciation, and more. Pricing has increased to $100 per person, per day pre-cruise (or $105 on board and on newer Sphere-class ships).
The Plus Package also sees changes, most notably doubling its casual dining meals from two to four per voyage. It retains the beverage package (now with some drink exclusions clarified), single-device Wi-Fi, and included gratuities. The cost is now $65 per person, per day, or $70 on Sphere-class ships.
Dropped Perks
To streamline the packages, Princess has removed some of the less-utilized offerings. These include gelato and juice bar access, fitness classes, Medallion device shipping, and certain prize promotions.
Guest Feedback Prompts Drink Policy Tweak
After some early feedback, Princess adjusted the drink limits in the Plus package. While non-alcoholic drinks like soda still count toward the 15-drink daily cap, specialty coffees and teas no longer do—restoring some flexibility for non-drinkers and coffee lovers.
Bottom Line
While prices are going up slightly, both the Premier and Plus packages continue to offer strong value for guests who plan to take advantage of multiple services. For those who cruise often or enjoy shore excursions, upgraded dining, and seamless onboard access, the new versions are still a smart add-on.
Guests who purchased packages before July 22, 2025, will keep their original benefits unless they choose to switch.
